In solitude, captured by a thought, by a soul idea
Who would I be, no self extensions
No true capabilities.
Well I guess, the rest would be thrown.
All my worth, embedded in my careless acts.
Under all this old demeanour, anything left?
Anything pure?
For the sake of my mind I will protest
I find comfort in telling myself, this is best.
Create goals to entertain my soul.
Keep me moving, sustain my affirmation.
Drop momentum, behold my heart seizing.
In the crowd, dedication prevails
Why settle for slow,
You can build, you can create.
Why settle at all
In your world, simply just say.
All I need is the purpose to weigh my own name
Just the drive to speak of this gives me claim
What of those who don't dwell in this mentality?
Are they happy or real?
I can’t see in their goal.
What of me, who thrives in the flux, uncertainty?
I am driven, or sick?
I could be the only one
Why?
Why we roll our eyes?
Only god has displayed such behaviour
I fear I’ll never understand ambition
Something not from this world. only seen in the actions of a god
Of a god
I fear I’ll never understand ambition
Something not from this world. only seen in the actions of a god
What of those who don't dwell in this mentality?
What of me, who thrives in the flux, uncertainty?

In my opinion they are the best techdeath band currently out there. What more do you need to know? I love everything about there music and above all other I love the bass. mourner

Since Spenser Moore replaced Blackburn I’ve frankly appreciated Inferi far more. I feel that his drumming improves the overall sound of the band a great deal, but it’s probably just a personal style preference. Either way, Of Sunless Realms was a great foreshadowing of the epic Vile Genesis. Metallurgical Fire
These California up-and-comers don't merely pay tribute to ’90s death metal; they make it their own by taking charge and letting it rip. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 21, 2024
Culinary-themed melodic death metal outfit cook up a smorgasbord of fierce solos, tight percussion, and cheeky, foodie-approved screeds. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 11, 2024

Swiss Melodic Black / Death Metal. I never wrote anything about this & given that I listen to it time & again, I really should! This is incredibly technical & amazingy good! I am having multiple eargasms & goosebumps for the entire duration of the album! Plus they have a new album coming out in a couple of months that I cannot wait for! A criminally underrated band... Stortregn rule! Highly recommended!!! bmurator
